It’s being rumoured that Warner Bros. Pictures is now looking at both Michael B. Jordan and John Boyega to play Superman in the upcoming Bad Robot reboot.
This news comes to us via our good friend Syl Adbul who posted the rumour on his Twitter account.
Now, this is just a rumour right now, but we are also hearing similar information, and either actor would be a great choice to play Calvin Ellis in an upcoming movie.
We were told a while back that John Boyega was in talks with Warner Bros. about a future project, and it seems as though this Superman film was that very same project.
As I stated above, both actors would be perfect for the role, however, there might be some hurdles for Warner Bros. to overcome in order to get either one of them to sign onto the project.

First off, Michael B. Jordan is in high demand at the moment and is embarking on his directorial debut with Creed 3, which will take up a lot of time.
It might be a bit of a tight fit for him to add the Superman movie to his already overflowing schedule.
As for John Boyega – fresh of a Golden Globe win by the way – he has said in the past that he’s not overly keen on signing onto another big franchise after having starred in the Star Wars films.
We’re just going to have to wait and see whether either actor ends up getting the role, which would be a role, I am sure, both actors would be very interested in.
Who wouldn’t want to play Superman?
John Boyega also seems to have a pretty good relationship with J.J. Abrams after having been directed by him in the Star Wars films.
This might have been in the works for quite some time already.
