Mel Gibson Plays A Badass Santa Claus With Guns In Fatman Trailer

The very first trailer for Fatman which stars Mel Gibson as a badass version of Santa Claus with guns has arrived and it looks mad.

This trailer landed and I really couldn’t believe what I was watching.

Mel Gibson playing Santa Claus?

But, not only that, his Santa Claus is actually a contract killer and works for the government?

And then, a kid wants Santa dead because he got coal for Christmas?

That kid then hires Walton Goggins’ hitman to kill Santa…?

This movie sounds like utter madness.

It could either be incredible or just awful.

Check out Fatman’s trailer below.

Here’s the film’s plot synopsis:

To save his declining business, Chris Cringle (Mel Gibson), also known as Santa Claus, is forced into a partnership with the U.S. military. Making matters worse, Chris gets locked into a deadly battle of wits against a highly skilled assassin (Walton Goggins), hired by a precocious 12-year-old after receiving a lump of coal in his stocking. ‘Tis the season for Fatman to get even, in the action-comedy that keeps on giving.

Fatman is being produced by Brandon James (Rough House Pictures), Nadine de Barros (Fortitude), and Lisa Wolofsky (Skywolf), and will be executive produced by David Gordon Green, Danny McBride, and Jody Hill, who are also part of Rough House.

Fatman will open in select cinemas on November 13th and debut on digital on November 17th.
