Marvel Studios Wants John Krasinski For An Alternate Universe Captain America

It’s being rumoured that Marvel Studios wants John Krasinski to play an alternate universe version of Captain America in the MCU.

Now, this rumour does come from We Got This Covered’s sources.

They have a rather… well… spotty track-record when it comes to these sorts of scoops.

However, they are claiming that their sources have told them that Marvel Studios wants John Krasinski to play an alternate universe version of Captain America.

If this is true, it would mean that Krasinski will finally get to play the role he was so close to getting all those years ago.

It was reportedly between him and Chris Evans for the role and Krasinski just missed out.

However, if it were up to me, I would cast Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic (a.k.a. Reed Richards) in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.

This is why I am rather skeptical of this rumour.

I really do believe that Krasinski and his wife Emily Blunt are up for the roles of Reed Richards and Susan Storm Richards (a.k.a. The Invisible Woman).

I think that would be brilliant casting and people have wanted it for years.

There’s also the fact that the comic book versions of the characters are starting to look a lot like the married couple in real life.

I really hope Krasinski finally gets to be in the MCU, but he deserves his own vehicle and The Fantastic Four would be perfect for him.
