It’s being rumoured that Lucasfilm is looking at recasting Cara Dune in The Mandalorian and other Star Wars shows. This rumour comes to us from The Hollywood Reporter.

So, this all comes after Lucasfilm revealed that Gina Carano would no longer be playing Cara Dune in The Mandalorian or any other Star Wars shows. This happened after Carano shared some posts on social media she really shouldn’t have.

This has started mass speculation about what’s going to happen to the character. Are they going to just leave Cara Dune alone and never bring her back into the Star Wars shows? Or, are they going to recast the role? Well, it’s looking like they might try and recast the role.

This news was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter who claims that the role will be recast “down the road” for both “story and merchandising reasons.” They did say that the character would not be in the upcoming Boba Fett spinoff show, The Book Of Boba Fett.

The reason why they might want to recast Cara Dune is because of the show Rangers Of The New Republic which was said to feature Cara Dune. It was actually rumoured that she was going to be one of the show’s main characters.
