Fans Think Henry Cavill Looks More Like Superman As Sherlock Holmes Than He Does In The DCEU

Fans have taken to Twitter to claim that Henry Cavill looks more like Superman as Sherlock Holmes in Enola Holmes than he does in the DCEU.

The first trailer for Netflix’s upcoming movie Enola Holmes was released today.

It features Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes, who’s Sherlock Holmes’ sister.

She’s not in the original Arthur Conan Doyle books, but this wasn’t the thing that caught people’s eye whilst watching this new trailer.

Fans of Henry Cavill noticed that the actor, who’s playing Sherlock in the movie, looks a lot more like Clark Kent than he does in the DCEU.

Many of these fans then took to Twitter with screengrabs to prove their point, and I think they might be right.

Now, it’s very clear that Henry Cavill is sporting a much more traditional Clark Kent swirl to his hair as Sherlock than he did in the DC Comics movies.

It might have been a very deliberate choice on his and Zack Snyder’s behalf not to go down the more traditional Clark Kent hair swirl route.

They made it very clear when making Man of Steel that they wanted to update Superman for modern audiences.

Perhaps his hairstyle was also part of that process.
