Netflix Has Announced Their Dragon’s Dogma Anime Series Is Coming September 17th

Netflix has just announced that their Dragon’s Dogma anime series will be arriving on September 17th, which has got fans of the video games excited to see what they’ll do with it.

This has made fans of the Dragon’s Dogma video games very very happy indeed.

Netflix seems to be making a habit of adapting really popular video games into an anime TV series.

They did this with the Castlevania series which was adapted from the classic games.

That show is now coming into its fourth season and I would argue is one of Netflix’s best shows.

Today, they announced via Twitter that an anime series adaptation of the video game Dragon’s Dogma is coming on September 17th.

This announcement kind of came out of nowhere as far as I’m concerned.

I had no idea that Netflix was working on this new anime series, yet I’m sure fans of the video game have known this was coming for a while.

Anyway, the series will be adapted from the Capcom video game and Netflix has already proven they know how to do this sort of thing really well.

Here’s what they wrote in their announcement tweet:

Only the Arisen can face the Dragon and defeat the apocalypse. Here’s your first look at the anime series adaptation of Capcom’s action fantasy classic Dragon’s Dogma, arriving September 17th.

The show will be produced by Sublimation and David Production, and directed by Shin’ya Sugai.
