Lovecraft Country Creator Has An Idea For A 7 Season Stephen King’s IT TV Show

It’s been revealed by Lovecraft Country’s creator showrunner Misha Green that she has an idea for a 7 season-long Stephen King’s IT TV show. We would love to see Misha get to do a Stephen King’s IT TV show. So, let’s get into what she said exactly.

Misha Green revealed this during a recent Q&A she did with The Hollywood Reporter. She was actually asked about the Cleopatra Jones remake she’s working on. However, the interviewer also went on to ask which horror properties she would like to work on next. That was when Misha revealed that she has an idea for a Stephen King’s IT TV show. She also added that she would love it to be seven seasons. Here’s what she said about it:

I’m still very much excited about making Cleopatra Jones a female Black Bond. But I would love to do a limited series of Stephen King’s It. It’s my favourite novel of all time, but it’s such a thick book that you need time to sit with every character and really get into their fear. You could do a two-hour movie, but imagine a seven-season It. And something with vampires. We need new vampires.

As for Misha Green’s Stephen King’s IT TV show idea, she doesn’t get too much into what her idea would be. The books were recently made into two movies which were directed by Andy Muschietti. I loved the first movie. The second movie, not so much.
