John-Wick–Chapter-4-Release-Date-Delayed-By-A-Year

Some rather epic footage involving Keanu Reeves fighting enemies with nunchucks in John Wick: Chapter 4 was shown as CinemaCon.

Reeves turned up on stage during the Lionsgate presentation at CinemaCon and he was greeted with applause and chants of “you’re the man” from the audience.

John Wick: Chapter 4 was one of the presentations main movies and it’ll be directed by Chad Stahelski.

Lionsgate have very high hopes for this upcoming John Wick movie.

The first film grossed $86 million worldwide in 2014 and Chapter 2 made $171.5 million and that was followed up with John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum which made $327.3 million in 2019.

During the CinemaCon presentation, they screened footage from Chapter 4 and it featured a pretty intense action scene.

Wick is back on his perpetual revenge tour.

In this scene, Wick is seen punching a wooden post to the point of his knuckles bleeding as co-star Laurence Fishburne acts as his hype man.

“I want you to find peace, John,” an off-screen voice booms as a montage plays of Reeves slaying his enemies, “but the only path this leads to is death.”

In the heart-pounding final moments of the trailer, Reeves takes on two baddies in the lobby of an art gallery — beating them up with nunchucks in a relentless action sequence.

John Wick: Chapter 4 stars Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins and Clancy Brown.

Ian McShane is also back as Winston, the manager of the Continental Hotel.

One person not returning to the franchise is Halle Berry.

Before starting filming on Chapter 4, Stahelski revealed that he really wanted the movie to top the insane stunts of Parabellum.

John Wick: Chapter 4 hits cinemas on May 23rd, 2023.
