Jim Carrey Rumoured To Be In Talks For A Role In The MCU

It’s now being rumoured that Jim Carrey is in talks for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This rumour comes to us from We Got This Covered, so maybe take it with a pinch of salt.

This is something that We Got This Covered has been saying will happen for quite some time now. It’s almost like WGTC has got  a ‘Jim Carrey’ section on their site and they are claiming he’s up for every role in Hollywood.

I’ve seen them claim that he’s in talks to return to the DC Comics movies as the Joker and as The Riddler. They’ve also claimed that he’s coming back to play The Mask in a The Mask sequel. They’re now claiming that he’s in talks to play a character in the MCU.

Now, is Jim Carrey in talks to play a role in the MCU? Perhaps. His people could very well be talking to people over at Marvel Studios about a role in one of their upcoming movies or Disney Plus TV shows.

So, this could be happening in the future. However, the issue I have with this report is that WGTC tends to say that Jim Carrey is up for all sorts of roles, and I’m not 100% convinced their information is accurate.

That said, WGTC have been proven right in the past, so I would be remiss not to cover it here on Small Screen. However, I am making it very clear that you should take this news with a pinch of salt. I do love Jim Carrey and think he would brilliant in the MCU. Doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.

What do you make of this news? Would you like to see Jim Carrey play a role in the MCU? Who do you think he should play? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
