This Barbie movie has me very intrigued since it would normally be the sort of movie that I would want to miss.

However, given who’s involved, I am very much looking forward to watching this particular version of Barbie on the screen!

The movie is being directed by Oscar-winning director, Greta Gerwig,

She also helped write the screenplay with her husband, Noah Baumbach.

This will be Barbie’s first-ever live-action film and I cannot wait to see it!

This Barbie movie also has one of the most incredible casts I think I’ve ever seen.

We know that it’ll star Margot Robbie as the titular Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken.

However, it’s also going to star the likes of America Ferrera, Simu Liu as another Ken, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Issa Rae as another Barbie, Michael Cera, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell as the CEO of a toy company, Ncuti Gatwa as another Ken, Emerald Fennell, Hari Nef as another Barbie, Sharon Rooney, Scott Evans, Ana Cruz Kayne, Connor Swindells, Ritu Arya and Jamie Demetriou.

Principal photography on the movie began in March 2022 at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden in England.

Barbie is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 21st, 2023.
