Bill Murray himself has revealed that he will be starring in the upcoming MCU movie, Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania.
Murray revealed this bit of news during an interview with the reputable German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine.
The actor, who often likes to stir things up, revealed that he was going to be in a Marvel movie.
Here’s what he said exactly:
You know, recently I made a Marvel movie.
Now, this can be seen as being rather vague.
However, it comes right after his name was attached to the upcoming Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania movie.
We still don’t know which role he’s going to play in the movie.
The film is getting very close to wrapping up production, so it sounds like his role was quite small.
They are going to be filming additional scenes in Atlanta next year – however, the brunt of the film has been filmed already.
Bill Murray is in Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania
Honestly, I think Bill Murray is perfect for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There are so many awesome comic book roles he could take on.
He could also do a great job playing a brand new Marvel character – a character created just for Murray.
The movie is being directed by Peyton Reed – who also made the first two movies.
The film will star Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, alongside Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, and Jonathan Majors.
