It’s been revealed that HBO Max’s upcoming Batgirl movie has wrapped production and it seems as though filming went very well!

This news was revealed by the film’s star, Leslie Grace via her Instagram account.

Here’s what Grace had to say about wrapping on Batgirl in the caption on her Instagram video:

In our true Glaswegian love language. I promise we love each other that is officially a wrap on us out here in Glasgow and I couldn’t let the day pass without saying THANK YOU to every person on this crew who made it all happen. What a riiiide! Forged by fire and I’m so grateful for it! More to come that I wish I could share but I leave you with these wee lil tender moments of our last week I will hold dear in my heart…

This Batgirl movie is going to be released exclusively on HBO Max.

The film stars Leslie Grace (In the Heights) as Barbara Gordon (aka Batgirl), Oscar winner J.K. Simmons (Zack Snyder’s Justice League) as Commissioner Gordon and Michael Keaton (Batman), as Bruce Wayne/ Batman.

Additional cast includes Jacob Scipio, Ethan Kai, Corey Johnson, Rebecca Front, and Brendan Fraser in his second role with the DC Universe as the villain Firefly.

Batgirl is being directed by Bad Boys for Life filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.

They were working off a screenplay written by Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey, The Flash).

The movie is a Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films production.

There’s no official release date for the movie yet.
