The petition to remove Amber Heard as Mera from Aquaman 2 has now reached over 400K signatures on Change.org which is a huge milestone.
This petition has been gaining some traction for quite sometime.
However, there have been some recent developments in the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp court case which have changed things.
It was revealed that Amber Heard could face three years in prison if found guilty of faking evidence against Depp.
This has subsequently lead to more people going to Change.org to sign the petition to get Warner Bros. Pictures to remove Heard from Aquaman 2.
Heard played Mera in the first Aquaman movie alongside Jason Momoa.
The petition’s now reached over 400K signatures (406,111 as of writing this article).

The petition goes as follows: “Amber Heard has been exposed as a domestic abuser by Johnny Depp.
“In his $50 million lawsuit, Johnny Depp describes many incidents of domestic abuse that he suffered at the hands of his (then) wife Amber Heard, including one incident where she punched him twice in the face and another where she shattered his finger with a vodka bottle, and his finger had to be surgically reattached.
“He will bear the scar from that for the rest of his life.”
We will have to wait and see what happens regarding Amber Heard and Aquaman 2.
