Shazam Actor Dropped From Shazam 2

It’s been revealed that an actor who played a pretty important part in the first Shazam movie will not be in Shazam 2 (Shazam! Fury Of The Gods).

It was revealed that Shazam! Fury Of The Gods will not feature Michelle Borth as Mary Bromfield.

She played the Super Hero version of Mary in the first movie.

It’s been revealed by Shazam 2’s director, David F. Sandberg that Grace Fulton will be playing both versions of the character in the upcoming movie.

So, I know that in the headline of this article I said that the actor had been dropped.

It’s more like she was just not needed for this second movie.

The first film was shot back in 2018.

Yes, it’s a bit strange that Mary’s Super Hero version of herself will be different from the first film.

However, now that Grace is older, she can also play both versions of Mary in Shazam 2.

Here’s what David F. Sandberg had to say about Shazam 2 not featuring Michelle Borth:

Yes, Grace now plays both parts. But her hair and makeup is slightly different when she’s super so nobody will ever recognize her. Hey, it works for Wonder Woman!

It’s a bit strange to me, but I can also understand why they opted to get Grace Fulton to play both versions of Mary.

Are you a bit shocked that they opted not to ask Michelle Borth back for Shazam 2?
