Proxima Midnight was part of Thanos’s Black Order, who worked for the Mad Titan as he tried to gather all the Infinity Stones.

She was killed by Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Infinity War and was snapped away by Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame.

Shang-Chi is set post the events of Endgame, so if this had happened, it would have posed a lot of questions.

Nevertheless, it would have been a very interesting fight to watch.

As for the Merc with a Mouth, we know that Deadpool 3 is in development with a planned 2023 release.

It should represent Deadpool’s first official MCU appearance in the MCU, unless he crops up in In the Multiverse of Madness as has been heavily rumoured.
