Scarlett Johansson To Star In Disney’s Tower Of Terror Film

It’s been revealed that Scarlett Johansson has been cast in an upcoming Tower Of Terror film for Disney which is pretty darn interesting.

This news comes to us from Collider and I really love the idea of a Tower Of Terror movie.

So, the movie will be based on the Disneyland ride, which is one of my favourites.

The funny thing is that the ride is sort of tied in with The Twilight Zone, so will this movie be in the same world?

I would love it if it was, and I think that Scarlett Johansson is a great choice for the lead of this movie.

According to Collider – who got the exclusive on this bit of news – the film is being written by Toy Story 4 director and Inside Out scribe Josh Cooley.

However, next to nothing is known about the film’s plot.

It was also revealed that Johansson will also act as a producer on the film.

No director is attached to the project yet, however, it would be interesting to see Cooley get a crack at making the film as well as writing it.

Johansson’s recent films have seen her get a lot of praise.

She was nominated for Oscars for performances in Marriage Story and Jojo Rabbit.

This film might not be getting her more Oscar buzz, but I think it could do very well at the box office and sounds like it could be Disney’s next big franchise.

I’m pretty sure that’s what they are hoping for.

The last time they made a movie based on an existing Disneyland ride, they ended up with the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

That did pretty well.
