Pixar’s Onward Will Be Available To Stream On Disney Plus From April

It’s been revealed that Disney is going to make Onward available to buy on-demand from tonight and it’ll be available to stream on Disney Plus from April.

This decision has been made following the Coronavirus pandemic.

The film was released in cinemas, however it didn’t do as well at the box office as Disney had hoped it would.

In this case, it’s really not Disney or Pixar’s fault.

The movie was widely well-received by critics, but people just weren’t going to the cinema as much due to the outbreak of the virus.

Disney has now, via ComicBook.com, revealed that they would be releasing the movie on-demand from tonight.

Pixar’s Onward will then be made available to Disney Plus subscribers from April 3rd.

It will be available to buy from the following on-demand services: Amazon, iTunes, VUDU, FandangoNOW in the US.

“While we’re looking forward to audiences enjoying our films on the big screen again soon, given the current circumstances, we are pleased to release this fun, adventurous film to digital platforms early for audiences to enjoy from the comfort of their homes,” said director Dan Scanlon and producer Kori Rae.
