Netflix Gets Die Hard Writer To Pen Assassin’s Creed Show

It’s been revealed that Netflix has hired Die Hard writer, Jeb Stuart to pen their upcoming live-action Assassin’s Creed series.

This was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter who reported that Jeb Stuart has been tasked with the difficult task of writing the live-action project based on the mega-selling video game franchise.

Netflix is really getting into making shows based on video game properties.

The most obvious one is The Witcher which is based on a series of video games by CD Projekt Red.

The Henry Cavill-led series is also based on the books which inspired the games.

Netflix is also working on a Resident Evil animated series, which looks pretty darn good to me.

Then they also made the Castlevania animated series which came to an end recently.

Castlevania is easily the best movie or TV series based on a video game property.

Now, could this Assassin’s Creed show be as good as we want it to be?

You know what, I have a lot of faith in Netflix and I also really like the fact they’ve hired Stuart to write the show.

Not only did he write the script for Die Hard, but he also wrote The Fugitive.

They are two brilliant movies, and hopefully he can do a much better job than the aweful 2016 Assassin’s Creed movie.
