It’s now being reported that Loki Season 2 is already in development over at Marvel Studios for Disney Plus. This rumour comes to us from The Direct (for once, it’s not Daniel Richtman).
Now, I will preface this story by saying that The Direct actually has a really good track record as far as these things are concerned, so I would sit up and take notice if I were you. Right, back to the story. It seems as though Marvel Studios and Disney are so confident that the first season of Loki will be a resounding success that they are already working on Season 2.
This is very good news, and I can’t wait to see how good this first season of Loki is. The season stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Sasha Lane, and Wunmi Mosaku. Richard E. Grant is also going to be appearing in the first season as a guest role.
Most of the roles are still undisclosed at the moment, however, we do know that Wilson will be playing Mobius M. Mobius, a member of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a police organization that monitors the timeline and multiverse.

This news is pretty big and it looks like Marvel Studios and Disney are very pleased with these new Marvel TV shows. The fact that they’re already greenlighting second seasons of shows like Loki is a very good sign. It’s also rumoured that Tom Hiddleston will be returning to play Loki in Season 2, which I’m also very happy about.
