It’s been revealed that Keanu Reeves would love to return in a Constantine sequel, which is getting many fans of the first movie and the comics excited.
There’s been a lot of talk about a Constatine sequel over the past few months.
It seems as though the fact that we’re getting a Justice League Dark TV show has meant that people have rediscovered the 2005 Constantine movie.
The movie was directed by Francis Lawrence and it did pretty well at the box office.
However, it didn’t end up getting a sequel, and we’ve kind of been getting out Keanu Reeves action-movie-fix with the John Wick films.
That said, it’s now been revealed that Keanu Reeves would really love to do a Constantine sequel.
Keanu Reeves would love to do a Constantine sequel
This news was revealed by Francis Lawrence in an interview with /Film.
The director revealed that there was an interest in making a Constantine sequel.
However, it would have to have a “more responsible budget” than what they had with the first movie.
He then revealed that Reeves would “love to do another Constantine” based on recent conversations he had with the actor.
Lawrence also revealed producer Akiva Goldsman would love to get a Constantine sequel made.
However, he ended up revealing that he’s not sure how they would get the movie made due to the situation with DC Comics being a bit tricky.
The comic books are made by Vertigo Comics, yet they would end up being underneath the DC Comics movies bracket, which is an issue.
