Now, it seems as though The Suicide Squad star, Idris Elba, might have teased his return to the MCU in Thor 4 (aka, Thor: Love And Thunder).

Elba played Heimdall in the Thor and Avengers movies and it sounds like he might be returning to the role… potentially.

Elba was doing press for The Suicide Squad and whilst chatting to ComicBook.com, he teased a possible return to the MCU.

He was asked whether he might return to the role of Heimdall despite “seemingly” having been killed in Avengers: Infinity War.

Here’s what he had to say to that question:

I think the word of choice to make note of is the word ‘seemingly’.

Interestingly enough, Elba was spotted in Australia earlier this year with several of the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder while it was filming.

So, does this mean that he’s definitely coming back to the MCU, despite having just made what looks to be a huge DC Comics movie?

Well, it certainly looks like he might be coming back, which would be epic!

Heimdall could have a small but important part to play in the movie.

Also, Elba is just perfect in the role.
