When Will From Season 2 Be Released?

From Season 2 is coming to MGM+ (yes, MGM has its own streaming service!), and fans are desperate to know when the second season will be released. The first season aired last year, and it ended up getting quite a cult following because of its creepy tone.

Honestly, the first season was a real head-scratcher. It was scary, terrifying in parts, but the real reason Ipt on watching was because of the mystery. I was just desperate to know what on Earth was going on.

It was easily one of the most intriguing shows I watched last year, and I watched quite a few. However, unlike other shows that I ended up really getting into, such as Netflix’s Archive 81, From didn’t get cancelled and was renewed for a second season.

So, I suppose I just answered the first question here. Yes, a second season of From is happening, and I couldn’t be happier. It was announced pretty soon after the first season aired on MGM+.

It was revealed by Deadline that the second season had been renewed by Epix, and it would see the show’s lead, Harold Perrineau return in a 10-episode second season. The show was created by John Griffin, who also serves as an executive producer. It was also executive produced by Lost alums Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner.

What’s the series about, you ask? Well, just in case you haven’t watched the first season yet, I’ll keep spoilers to a minimum. The series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. Production on the second season started in the summer of 2022, and it was completed pretty recently. The series was filmed in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The series premiere of From is Epix’s most viewed original series premiere in the history of the Amazon-owned network following the acquisition of MGM, and current performance analytics track that the entire series is on pace to be Epix’s second most-watched original behind Emmy-winning series Godfather of Harlem.

“The first season of From mystified, enthralled, and terrified fans and critics alike with its haunting world, vivid characters and thrilling scares,” said Michael Wright, president of Epix.

He continued: “We have been delighted by the social conversation generated by the From community and can’t wait to unravel more of this mysterious story with our passionate fans in season two.”

As for when the second season might be released, it was revealed pretty recently that it would premiere on MGM+ on April 23rd, and then new episodes of the show will be released weekly from that moment onward.

That sounds very spooky and mysterious, and I am all for it! I cannot wait to watch this second season!
