It’s been revealed that Doom Patrol and Titans have both been ‘cancelled’ of sorts over at HBO Max, which means that the next seasons of the shows will be the final ones. This was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter.

Both shows are now into their fourth seasons. The shows are produced by Greg Berlanti for HBO Max, and it was revealed that these seasons would be the show’s final ones. Sources told THR that producers on both Titans and Doom Patrol saw the “writing on the wall amid all the changes with DC Entertainment”.

These sources added that the show’s producers and writers, therefore, “plotted their current seasons with proper endings so as to not leave fans in a lurch”.

Here’s what Titans’ Executive Producer, Greg Walker, had to say about the news:

I’m immensely proud of our gifted cast, crew and writing staff and their efforts in bringing to life all 49 episodes over the last five-plus years. I’m incredibly grateful for their unyielding trust throughout this process. Lastly, I have to thank our incredible fans for their continued support, engagement, and the passionate community they’ve built around our show. We have six episodes left to unleash upon the world that we hope will give our beloved characters the creative closure we all know they deserve.
