It’s been revealed that Donald Glover and Phoebe Waller-Bridge are going to be starring and co-creating a Mr. And Mrs. Smith series for Amazon Prime Video. Glover revealed this news via his Instagram Stories.
This is really something I didn’t see coming. If someone told me that Donald Glover and Phoebe Waller-Bridge would be making a Mr. And Mrs. Smith series for Amazon Prime Video, I’d tell you that you are mad and a bit dangerous.
Well, it turns out that they’re not only making it, but they’re also going to be starring in the show. And you know what, I love this news. The two of them starred together in the Solo: A Star Wars Story movie, and I thought they were great!

Sounds like they enjoyed working together so much that they want to make this show together. Mr. And Mrs. Smith was, of course, a 2005 directed by Doug Liman and starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
There was a lot of rumours suggesting that a sequel could be in the works. Well, it looks like Amazon got the rights and are now having it be made into a series starring and co-created by Glover and Waller-Bridge. I can’t tell you how much I love this news. I think both actors are great and they’re also incredible creators. Yes, bring it on!
