Marvel fans would really love to see Hugh Jackman return as Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it could all come down to what Marvel Studios decides to do with Doctor Strange Into The Multiverse Of Madness.
The film will see Marvel Studios fully address the existence of the Multiverse and it could be a way that they decide to bring in the likes of Deadpool and maybe even Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
We already know that Marvel Studios’ President, Kevin Feige, really wants Jackman to turn as Wolverine in the MCU, but the Australian actor made it very clear that Logan was going to be his last time playing the character.
That said, everybody has a price, and I’m sure that Marvel and Disney could end up convincing Jackman to return as Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
There’s also the fact that Jackman might be convinced to come back if the story was good enough, and we’re now hearing reports from We Got This Covered that Doctor Stranger Into The Multiverse Of Madness will feature Stephen Strange travelling through different universes and at one point, he’ll encounter 20th Century Fox X-Men Universe.
Could Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine be brought into the MCU
This is one way they could bring in Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. That said, it all sounds a little bit CW to me, and I’m not sure if Marvel’s writers and more specifically Scott Derrickson would be up for doing something quite as ‘hammy’ as that.
Doctor Stranger Into The Multiverse Of Madness will feature British actor Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, and I’m sure he’d love to star in a movie alongside the likes of Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.
