I have to say that I am not at all surprised that Batwoman has been cancelled by The CW.

We actually predicted this would happen a few weeks back and we had good reasons to think that The CW would call it a day on the show.

First off, it was odd that the show wasn’t part of the shows that The CW revealed had renewed a few weeks back.

The noticeable absentees from the ‘renewed’ list were Batwoman and DC Legends Of Tomorrow and it’s been revealed today that both shows have been canned.

Does this mean that this is the end for the character of Batwoman?

No, I don’t think so, but I do think it’s the end of the this version of the character.

I am pretty certain that a version of Batwoman will be brought back to the screen via a future HBO Max series.

Batwoman Season 3 ended on The CW back in March.
