It’s been revealed that Warner Bros Pictures and DC Films came very close to firing Amber Heard from Aquaman 2.

The second Aquaman movie, Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom, wrapped filming earlier this year and Heard was part of the cast.

It’s now been revealed that the actress came very close to getting dropped from the movie, but not for the reason you might think.

It wasn’t because of what was going on with her legal battles against Johnny Depp.

No, it was actually because of “chemistry concerns” with the movie’s star, Jason Momoa.

This comes from Matthew Belloni over at Puck.

In his article on the subject, he claimed that he had uncovered information pertaining to a deposition with Walter Hamada that will feature in Heard’s upcoming defamation trial opposite Johnny Depp, revealing that the actress was almost dropped from Aquaman 2 due to her perceived lack of chemistry with Jason Momoa.

It ended up not amounting to anything, but it does sound as though DC Films was looking to get rid of the actress.

Imagine not having chemistry with Momoa!?

How is that even possible?

Heard is currently back in the court having to fight Johnny Depp’s defamation case against her.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens regarding Heard’s future as Mera once the verdict comes in.
