Sony President Teases A Spider-Man Venom Crossover

Sony Motion Picture Group president Sanford Panitch has teased that they are working on a Spider-Man and Venom crossover.

He revealed this during a recent interview with Variety.

It’s been kind of assumed that Sony Pictures would want to make a Spider-Man and Venom crossover movie.

However, we still haven’t had any official confirmation that it’ll happen.

Panitch’s words are the closest we’ve ever come to some sort of confirmation that it’s in the works over at Sony Pictures.

Personally, I would love to see Tom Hardy and Tom Holland appear in the same Marvel movie together.

I’m just not sure whether Venom will be the villain we expect him to be in a Venom and Spider-Man crossover movie.

Here’s what Panitch had to say on the matter:

There actually is a plan. I think now maybe it’s getting a little more clear for people where we’re headed and I think when No Way Home comes out, even more will be revealed. The great thing is we have this very excellent relationship with Kevin. There’s an incredible sandbox there to play with. We want those MCU movies to be absolutely huge, because that’s great for us and our Marvel characters, and I think that’s the same thing on their side. But we have a great relationship. There’s lots of opportunities, I think, that are going to happen.
