It’s been revealed by Zack Snyder himself that his cut of Justice League will feature a very different look for Jared Leto’s Joker. This was revealed during a recent interview he did with Beyond The Trailer’s Grace Randolph.
It came as a bit of shock when it was revealed that Zack Snyder had asked Jared Leto to film some new scenes of his upcoming cut of Justice League which is coming to HBO Max in 2021. It’s since been revealed that he’s not going to have the same look he had in Suicide Squad.
Back in 2016, Jared Leto’s Joker had a very loud look – I think that’s the best way to describe his rather flashy dress sense in the movie. However, it sounds like his Joker in Justice League is going to be rather dishevelled compared to Suicide Squad.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will feature a very different looking Joker for Jared Leto
This was revealed by Snyder during a recent interview with Grace Randolph. Here’s what Zack Snyder told Randolph about Jared Leto’s new Joker look in Justice League:
It is true. I wanted to of course honour what had been created with him because I thought it was really cool; but also in this, I’m not going to tell you what happens in the little scene, but some water has gone under the proverbial bridge between when last we saw Joker and this appearance. So he’s made some…he’s a road-weary Joker, I guess that’s a way of saying it.
I will say it was fun having a segment of the band together for this little vignette if you will. Working with Jared was really amazing, his attention to detail, he really cares a lot about it being awesome. It was fun and everyone did an amazing (job). Even trying to shoot in COVID is a bit of a deal but everyone brought like huge A game and really wanted it to be cool, and I couldn’t be happier with what those guys did.
