Over One Million People Have Now Signed The Petition to Have Porn Hub Shut Down

There have been over one million signatures on an online petition calling to have Porn Hub shut down after its ties to rape and paedophilia were revealed.

It really does seem as though things are changing in our society these days.

More and more people are trying to hold businesses, the government and people in positions of power to account.

It now seems as though many people have turned their attention to the popular pornographic website, Porn Hub.

Porn Hub is owned by a company called MindGeek and it is one of the most visited websites in the world.

It allows people to post erotic videos on their video sharing platform and those videos are then viewed by millions.

However, the issue is that many of these videos are not checked and it’s been revealed that there is a lot of criminal content on the site.

There are rape and pedophilic videos on the website and they are allowed to go up on the site because they don’t check or vet anything beforehand.

Porn Hub also makes it very difficult for these videos to be taken down after they’ve been flagged, and they have been directly linked to sex trafficking.

This has led to many people calling for Porn Hub just to be shut down because they have been warned on multiple occasions about these issues and have failed to do anything about them.

There’s now a petition on Change.org calling for the site to be shut down because of the way it has (or hasn’t) handled the sheer quantity of horrendous videos being posted by its users.

This petition has now been signed by over one million people worldwide and the #TraffickingHub is trending on social media.

Here’s what’s written on the petition:

The #Traffickinghub campaign founded by Laila Mickelwait and powered by the anti-trafficking organization Exodus Cry, is a non-religious, non-partisan effort to hold the largest porn website in the world accountable for enabling and profiting off of the mass sex trafficking, rape and exploitation of women and minors. The petition has been signed by people from 192 countries and the campaign is supported by over 300 child protection and anti-trafficking organizations as well as experts on, and survivors of sex trafficking.
