This was revealed by the show’s main star, Katee Sackhoff, in a Twitter post.

Here’s what Sackhoff had to say about Netflix’s decision to cancel Another Life after just two seasons:

I’d like to thank everyone single person who watched & supported Another Life on @netflix To our crew & cast thank you for always working so hard & being prepared. I wish we could do more seasons but sadly it’s just not in the cards. See you on the next adventure. Love Niko

It’s interesting to see how Katee Sackhoff’s career has progressed over the years.

For some reason, whether it’s by accident or design, Sackhoff has ended up in many sci-fi projects over the years.

Sackhoff started off by impressing viewers as Kara Thrace in the acclaimed Battlestar Galactica reboot.

She then went on to star in the likes of Vin Diesel’s Riddick, five episodes of the short-lived update of The Bionic Woman, and an episode of Futurama.

She also worked on the video games Halo 3 and Resistance 2.

Katee Sackhoff then voiced Bo-Katan Kryze in the animated Star Wars shows, Star Wars: Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

She eventually got to play the character in live-action in The Mandalorian Season 2.

There have also been rumours that she might get to play the character again in The Mandalorian Season 3 and Bo-Katan’s own spinoff Star Wars live-action series.
