It’s been revealed that Netflix has cancelled Jamie Foxx’s sitcom, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!, and it seems as though fans of the show are pretty pissed about it.

This news was revealed by Deadline and it shouldn’t really come as much of a shock.

Not only was the show not doing too well on the streaming platform, but it also lost its showrunner and it seemed as though Foxx was also involved in the decision to cancel the show.

According to Deadline, sitcom veteran Jim Patterson stepped down as showrunner ahead of the start of production.

He was then replaced by Bentley Kyle Evans.

Ken Whittingham directed the first six episodes and Evans directed the last two.

The show was inspired by Foxx’s relationship with his daughter, Corinne Foxx.

Foxx also produced the show alongside Alex Avant, and the show’s eight episodes landed on Netflix back on April 18th.

Jamie has had a pretty good relationship with Netflix over the years.

He made the movie Power for Netflix last year and has two other films in production with the streamer.

He’s making two other movies coming to Netflix in the not-so-distant future.

They are They Cloned Tyrone and Day Shift.

We’re going to have to wait and see what happens with these movies.

I hope that they end up doing well, mainly because I love Jamie Foxx and think he’s a really talented actor.
