MCU Nova Movie Or TV Show In The Works At Marvel

It’s been revealed that a Nova movie or TV show is in the works over at Marvel Studios, which is pretty darn exciting news!

This news comes to us from Deadline and I have to say that it’s been a long time coming.

Fans have been demanding that Marvel make a Nova series or movie for years.

Interestingly enough, it’s been something that Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton has been saying is in the works for quite some time too.

You can check out Mikey deliver the scoop over on Pete’s Basement here.

Anyway, according to Deadline’s report, Moon Knight writer Sabir Pirzada is taking the Nova project.

Pirzada is currently developing this Nova project with Marvel Studios.

Nova, who also goes by the name of Richard Rider, has been a staple of Marvel Comics for years.

He’s been teased a few times in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

Through those movies, the MCU has already established the infamous Nova Corps.

So, it was safe to assume that Nova would be making an appearance at some point in the MCU.

Moreover, even though we haven’t seen Richard yet in the MCU, Marvel’s President, Kevin Feige has made it clear in past interviews that Nova is definitely someone that they are interested in introducing at some point.

I would assume Nova to start off as a Disney Plus series, but information on that front is thin at the moment.
