Marvel Releases Thor: Love And Thunder Trailer

Yes, the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer is finally here! After much hype and outcry by fans for Marvel to release the Thor The Fourth Thor trailer, they slyly dropped it this morning.

The trailer runs at one minute and twenty nine seconds, so it’s not a full theatrical trailer. As we reported earlier, the full trailer should be attached to Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

But fear not! The Thor: Love And Thunder trailer rleased today gives us a really good look into Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth’s next Thor adventure.

Let’s take a look.

Right off the bat we see Thor running through the woods, each shot changing as he grows up.

What’s really cool here is we get to see his classic, Jack Kirby costume from the comics. Comic accurate, you might say.

Man, look at that helmet! Where’s Mjolnir?

Next we see Thor “planting” StormBreaker in the ground with him saying “Once these hands were used for battle. Now they’re but humble tools for peace”.

Wait, did Thor retire after Avengers: Endgame?

He then says “I need to figure out exactly who I am”.

So maybe not retired, but definitely going through an existential crisis.

Interestingly enough when he is “planting” StormBreaker Thor doesn’t seem to be overweight. Does this shot happen towards the end of the movie?

Next we get what what looks like a fun workout montage. Homage to the 80’s classics.

As far as the rest go, I’ll give a brief rundown but you really need to watch it for yourself.

We get to see Korg, some cool new Thor outfits, Valkyrie, ZEUS, what looks like Olympus(!), The Guardians Of The Galaxy (is there a bromance between Thor and Starlord now?), Thor saying “My superheroing days are over”, a Thor pirate adventure and… of course, Natalie Portman as Thor, wielding what looks like a put back together Mjolnir.
