Luther Creator Confirms That The Movie Is Happening With Idris Elba Returning

It’s been revealed by Luther’s creator, Neil Cross that the movie is coming and he also hinted at Idris Elba returning at the detective.

There’s been talk about a Luther movie for quite some time now.

Fans of the show have been eagerly waiting for a new series or a movie ever since the final season was aired.

I’m a huge fan of Luther, yet I found the last season to be rather disappointing.

That said, the idea of a Luther movie is really exciting to me.

Idris Elba already revealed that they are thinking about a movie.

Now, the show’s creator has confirmed that the movie is in development.

Here’s what Luther creator, Neil Cross said in a recent interview with the Radio Times:

Ask Idris. We are, I don’t know what I’m allowed to say, which is an answer in of itself. Words are my job and I’ve lost them all. We wanna make more Luther. We’re gonna make more Luther. The how and the why, that’s all to come, but we’re gonna make more Luther.

So, it sounds like everyone’s on-board with this upcoming Luther movie.

I am super excited to see Idris Elba return as the British detective.

Hopefully, the movie will be a bit better than the final series was.
