Kevin Feige has said something very interesting about the characters from the Marvel Netflix TV shows. He said in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the characters from those shows are “on the board”.
What does that mean? Well, this suggests that they are planning out how they can bring in those characters into the MCU. This is something that fans of the shows and the characters have been waiting to hear for quite some time now.
We’ve heard rumours that the likes of Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, Finn Jones’ Iron Fist, Michael Colter’s Luke Cage and Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones will be coming back to the MCU. We revealed ourselves that plans for that have already been in motion at Marvel for a while. Kevin Feige’s now offered some sort of confirmation that they plan on bringing them back.
Marvel boss, Kevin Feige says there are plans for the Marvel Netflix characters in the MCU
Here’s what Marvel President Kevin Feige told The Hollywood Reporter about the Marvel Netflix characters returning to the MCU:
Everything is on the board. That’s one of the fun things about the comics is that characters would appear and disappear and come and go. All of it is inspiration for the future. There are some great characters and actors from those shows.
