John Wick Chapter 4 Has Started Shooting In Paris

It’s been revealed that John Wick: Chapter 4 has started filming over in Paris and Berlin and this is very good news.

This was revealed via Lionsgate over on Instagram and I’m really hoping that this movie ends up being as brilliant as it should be.

John Wick: Parabellum – Chapter 3 was incredible. I think it was one of the best action movies ever made.

It was a huge improvement on John Wick: Chapter 2 as far as I’m concerned.

I know that not everyone will agree with me on that, but it’s just how I felt after watching both films back-to-back.

Lionsgate posted a picture of a director’s chair with the very cool logo for John Wick 4.

They accompanied the picture with the following caption:

Anybody got a pencil sharpener? JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4 is now in production.

The cast for John Wick: Chapter 4 is already looking very impressive indeed.

The likes of Mortal Kombat’s Hiroyuki Sanada, IT’s Bill Skarsgard, Shamier Anderson (Wynonna Earp), pop singer Rina Sawayama, and martial arts superstar Donnie Yen (Rogue One) have all joined the cast.

This will also be the first John Wick film not to have series creator Derek Kolstad involved.

However, Koldstad is close with John Wick directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch.

Also Stahelski still on board to direct the fourth film and Kolstad had this to say on the film:

At a certain stage of the studio will tell you, your creation is graduated, and you wish it well. I’m still close with Chad [Stahelski], still close with Dave [Leitch], and I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m excited to see.

John Wick: Chapter 4 will be released in cinemas on May 27th, 2022.
