It’s been revealed that Jared Leto’s upcoming Morbius movie has been delayed until October 2021, which is pretty annoying really. This news comes from Deadline.

Morbius had already been delayed to 2021. It was supposed to be released in 2020, yet the Coronavirus pandemic meant that Sony Pictures pushed all their movies into 2020.

They pushed both Morbius and Venom: Let There Be Carnage into 2021, which made sense really. It’s now been revealed that Morbius’ release date has been pushed yet again. It’s now coming out (hopefully) on October 8th, 2021. This new date will mean that Morbius will have an actual chance of coming out in cinemas.

Morbius‘ release date before this news was announced was March 12th, 2021, and it’s looking like cinemas will not be open by then. Having the Jared Leto film come out in October makes so much more sense because it gives them more time.

With vaccinations being dished out all over the world at the moment, we’re all hoping that that can mean that things will go back to some kind of normality sometime soon. This is a bit of wishful thinking, and I want to be positive here.

I am positive that cinemas will be open come October time. You might think I’m crazy, but I’m going with it.
