It’s being reported that Henry Cavill might get to return as Superman in the upcoming The Flash DC Comics movie, which would be great if this new rumour’s true.

I used to call these sorts of articles ‘Notes From The Rumour Mill’ and I’m thinking of bringing that back.
So, yes, here’s the next instalment in ‘Notes From The Rumour Mill’, and this time we’re talking about Cavill return as Superman in The Flash movie.
First off, is this confirmed? No, it’s not.
However, there have been reports for quite some time now that Henry Cavill and Warner Bros Pictures have been discussing his return as the iconic DC Comics superman.

We were told a while back that Cavill and Warner Bros were ‘deep in Superman talks’.
Now, we weren’t told how those talks ended up going.
But, if Giant Freakin Robot’s report is to be taken a face value, then it would seem as though some sort of agreement has been reached between the two parties.
This all comes after it was revealed that Warner Bros Pictures had decided to push The Flash into 2023.
The Flash is moving from its November 4 2022 release date, and will instead speed its way into cinemas on June 23, 2023.
Could Henry Cavill’s Superman turn up in The Flash film?
The Flash film isn’t the only DC Comics movie that’s been pushed into 2023.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is swimming away from its December 16, 2022 release date.
It will instead surface on March 17, 2023.
Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson, is still set for a 2022 release.
However, it has been pushed back from July 29 to October 21.
DC League of Super-Pets, also starring Johnson, will open on July 29 2022, filling the slot left by Black Adam.
Shazam: Fury of the Gods is interestingly the only film to be brought forward.
Originally set to open in June 2023, it will now be the perfect Christmas gift for DC fans and will instead release on December 12 2022.
