EXCLUSIVE: Warner Bros. Planning On Making Black Adam A Trilogy

There have been a number of outlets reporting that Black Adam might become a trilogy, and our insider sources has confirmed this to be true.

This news comes after it was revealed that Black Adam had been removed from Warner Bros. Pictures’ release schedule.

This was pretty worrying to begin with because I know that a lot of people – myself included – have been really looking forward to this movie.

The film is going to star Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam and he’s supposedly going to be joined by Aldis Hodge as Hawkeye.

However, we’ve been informed by multiple sources that Black Adam being removed from the release schedule doesn’t mean we should worry about the movie.

We were told that Warner Bros. Pictures is actually working on developing Black Adam into a trilogy.

This comes from the same source who told us that Liam Neeson was in talks with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment to star in the movie.

We’ve actually been told that he’s in the running to play Doctor Fate in the movie, which would be excellent casting.

The first Black Adam film was slated for release on December 22nd, 2021.

However, it’s looking like that might be pushed into 2022.

Apparently, this delay has more to do with the fact that crew members that were originally hired to help shoot the movie have found themselves to be double or in some cases triple booked due to the pandemic.

There are too many movies to film now and Warner Bros. Pictures is finding it very difficult to get them all made.

Therefore, some movies have had to be pushed back.

It’s a combination of this and the fact that the pandemic has lead to fewer people visiting cinemas and social distance rules within the cinemas themselves.

Screenings are now only able to get up to half capacity at most and that’s one of the main reasons why TENET has struggled at the box office.

Anyway, Warner Bros. is not putting the breaks on Black Adam – much the contrary.

They are now planning out all three Black Adam movies with Dwayne Johnson as the star and executive producer of all three movies.

Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra is directing the first movie, yet we weren’t informed whether he would be making the other two movies.
