Escape Room’s Sequel Has Been Delayed To 2021 Due To COVID-19

It’s been revealed that the Escape Room sequel has been delayed till 2021 like many other movies which were scheduled for 2020.

2020 has probably been one of the worst years on record for new movie releases.

There’s almost been no movies to come out this year and it’s all down to the Coronavirus pandemic.

We’ve had the likes of TENET, Sonic The Hedgehog, Birds of Prey to name a few come out this year.

However, this was all at the beginning of the year, apart from TENET.

And now we’re seen more and more 2020 movies get delayed to 2021.

One of the reasons is because movie studios are not confident that people will go to see their new releases at the cinema.

This has been proven by TENET’s rather lacklustre box office takings.

So, yesterday we brought you the news that the likes of No Time To Die, The Batman, Dune and The Flash have all be delayed.

Now, we can add the Escape Room sequel to that list of movies to be pushed into 2021.

Escape Room 2 has been pushed from its December 30, 2020 release date to an unspecified future date sometime in 2021.

Another horror movie which got pushed was Terrifier 2.

A Quiet Place Part 2 had already moved to next year.

That was announced a while back now.

They actually announced that A Quiet Place Part 2 was being delayed to 2021 at the very beginning of the lockdown.
