Don Cheadle Nominated For An Emmy For The Falcon And The Winter Soldier

It was revealed that Don Cheadle was nominated for an Emmy for his very brief performance in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.

The nominations for the 73rd Emmy Awards were announced the other day and it was a pretty good time for Marvel Studios.

They haven’t been getting much love at the Oscars, but their new Disney Plus TV shows have been received very well with the Emmys.

It was revealed that Marvel’s Disney Plus TV shows got a total of 28 nominations.

WandaVision ended up getting 23 of them, including a Best Actress nomination for Elizabeth Olsen.

However, there was one nomination that shocked quite a few people (including Don Cheadle himself).

Yep, that nomination was the one Cheadle received a nomination in the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series category for his cameo as James Rhodes in The Falcon And The Winter Solider.

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier ended up getting five nominations in total.

That’s not bad at all, however, it didn’t come anywhere close to WandaVision’s nominations tally.

As for Loki, its final episode was released after the cut-off point to be considered for nominations for this year’s Emmys.

However, I’m pretty sure it’ll end up getting a few nominations next year.
