It’s being rumoured that Chris Evans might be making a cameo as The Human Torch in Doctor Strange 2 which would be wild! This rumour comes to us from Giant Freakin Robot.

It does sound as though the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is going to be giving us some pretty crazy stuff in the upcoming movies. We’re already getting some very strange stuff in WandaVision, and it sounds like things are only going to get stranger thanks to the introduction of the Multiverse in the MCU.

We’ve heard rumours of the likes of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men coming into Spider-Man 3, and now we’re hearing that Chris Evans could be returning as The Human Torch in Doctor Strange 2, otherwise known as Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

Here’s what Giant Freakin Robot had to say about Chris Evans returning as The Human Torch in Doctor Strange 2:

Our trusted inside source – the same one that gave us our confirmed scoops regarding Don Cheadle showing up as War Machine in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Josh Brolin returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thanos – has let us know that Marvel is trying to get Chris Evans to appear as both an evil version of Captain America and none other than the Human Torch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Yes, it looks like they want to acknowledge his role in a previous Marvel superhero movie in what has to be a very cheeky cameo. This would certainly line up with the other info we have received that Marvel wants Jessica Alba to have a cameo in the movie as the Invisible Woman as well.
