Benedict Wong Says The MCU Is Now The WCU After Doctor Strange 2

Doctor Strange 2’s Benedict Wong has talked about the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)  becoming the Wong Cinematic Universe (WCU).

Wong spoke about this during a recent press Q&A of which we were present.

The Marvel actor was asked about the MCU now really being the WCU and the British actor agreed and said:

I think we’re coming to the end of it now.

Wong then turned to Marvel President, Kevin Feige, and said: “We’re due another discussion.”

Does this mean that Benedict Wong’s time in the MCU going to come to an end in Doctor Strange 2?

Hopefully not because Wong is one of the best and most fun characters in the MCU.

Benedict Wong was first introduction in the very first Doctor Strange movie.

He’s since gone on to appear in a whole bunch of Marvel movies.

He’s recently been making cameos in a lot of MCU movies such as Shang Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Is Benedict Wong the new Marvel GOAT after Doctor Strange 2?

It’s going to be interesting to see what happens to Benedict Wong’s character in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

I sincerely hope they don’t end up killing the character off.

We don’t have too long to wait before the movie is released.

Doctor Strange 2 is coming to US theatres on May 6th and UK cinemas on May 5th.
