Simu Liu has reacted to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings‘s record-breaking opening weekend, and it couldn’t be more perfect.
As per Digital Spy, the latest entry into the MCU has grossed $90million over its first four days of release.
In doing so, it smashed Labor Day records in the United States.
The film’s star Simu Liu took to Twitter to express his reaction to this news, and well, it’s just outstanding.

Before he became an actual superhero, Liu used to be a stock photo model.
So, he used one of his old pictures to poke fun at those who doubted Shang-Chi‘s box office potential:

He accompanied the photo with the “Me laughing at the people who thought we’d flop”.
