Shang-Chi’s New Trailer Teases A Doctor Strange Cameo

The new trailer for Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings has been released and it featured a pretty interesting Doctor Strange cameo.

The cameo in question isn’t Doctor Strange himself, but rather his fellow sorcerer, Wong (played by Benedict Wong).

This is a pretty big cameo to reveal in the movie’s trailer.

Wong turns up towards the end of the trailer and he’s fighting Abomination in what looks to be a cage fight.

Now, I have no idea why Wong thought it would be a good idea to fight Abomination in a cage?

I really want to know what’s going on in that sequence of the movie.

I’m wondering whether this sequence will actually be taking place in Madripoor, which is kind of the seedy underbelly of the MCU on Earth.

Madripoor was originally based on Singapore, but they seem to be making it something different in the MCU.

We were first introduced to Madripoor in the MCU in The Flacon And The Winter Soldier and it seems as though the place is a hotbed of criminals.

That’s the sort of place I could imagine a cage fight like this one taking place.

This is a particularly surprising cameo because we’d heard nothing about Benedict Wong filming scenes for Shang-Chi.

That one was a pretty well-kept secret by Marvel Studios.

Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings will be released in cinemas in both the US and the UK on September 3rd.
