Sebastian Stan has revealed that we would love to return as Bucky Barnes in a future Wakanda-based MCU movie, so could he be in Black Panther 2?
Stan revealed this in a recent interview with Vanity Fair.
Stan’s character, Bucky, has been heavily tied to Wakanda and it was recently revealed that the Wakandans helped him to break free from HYDRA’s mind-control.
It was revealed in The Falcon And The Winter Solider that Okoye was instrumental in helping Bucky to break free from the HYDRA code words.
It’ll be interesting to see what the character does next and whether he ends up going back to Wakanda in the not-so-distant future.
There have been some rumours that Bucky might be turning up in Black Panther 2.
Given what Sebastian revealed in his recent interview, it’s looking slightly more likely that he will be in the film.

Here’s what Stan had to say about Bucky returning to Wakanda:
Absolutely. I mean, just like thinking about it now with the whole Chadwick thing is just so crazy. With him, I was always really enamoured because I remember on that Civil War movie we met and he had come in and he was new and it’s sort of the introduction of his character. And I was like, ‘Oh my God, this guy is going to blow everyone away’. You know what I mean? There was such a commitment and dedication to everything he was doing. It was just so crazy.
