Rocksteady Studios’ New Game Could Be A Suicide Squad Video Game

It’s being rumoured that Rocksteady Studios’ upcoming video game could be a Suicide Squad video game which would come to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

We’ve been wondering for what seems like forever what Rocksteady Studios’ next game would be.

The UK-based video game makers have been working on something in secret and no one seems to know what it could be.

It does seem to be another DC Comics property, and there have been plenty of people suggesting what it could be.

Some people have floated the idea of a Superman game, a Justice League game, a Green Lantern Corps game.

There are now rumours that they could actually be working on a Suicide Squad game which would be an interesting twist.

This idea was floated by Kind Of Funny Games’ Imran Khan, a former Game Informer Editor who has come up with some insider scoops in the past.

Khan then stated that he heard they were working on a Suicide Squad game a few years ago.

It would be interesting to see them come out with a new Suicide Squad game at the same time as James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad comes out.

That would be pretty good marketing.

However, Khan did state that it could end up being a “games-as-a-service” title, which I do not like the sound of.

That would mean it would have more in common with the likes of Destiny 2 and Fortnite.

I hope they opt to do something more like the Batman: Arkham games.

They’re already very familiar with the characters of Deadshot, Harley Quinn and Killer Kroc.

So, making a Suicide Squad game seems to make sense, to me at least.

What do you make of this rumour?

Would you like Rocksteady Studios’ next game be a Suicide Squad video game?
