Robert Downey Jr. Reportedly In Talks For Multiple Netflix Projects

Could Ty Simpkins End Up Replacing Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man After The Avengers 4? 2

It’s being reported that Robert Downey Jr. is in talks to star in multiple Netflix projects that could involve both movies and TV shows.

This report comes from Daniel Richtman and his beloved Patreon page.

This is something that has long been on the cards.

Netflix has reportedly been trying to secure Robert Downey Jr. for some future projects for what seems like ages now.

However, getting Robert Downey Jr. to join in any projects these days is pretty darn expensive.

It looks like Netflix might now be able to match Downey Jr.’s financial demands.

Now, Daniel Richtman doesn’t open up on which projects the former Marvel Cinematic Universe actor is in discussions with Netflix over.

However, it seems as though they might be talking about both movies and TV shows

Robert Downey Jr. has been in a rather strange position ever since he left the MCU.

He was hoping that the Doctor Doolittle movie would be the start of a huge cinematic franchise.

Well, we all know how that one turned out.

Robert still has the Sherlock Holmes movies to fall back on, but he does need something else because at the moment he’s not involved in all that much.
