Rian Johnson Confirms His Star Wars Trilogy Is Still Happening

It’s been revealed by Rian Johnson himself that his Star Wars trilogy is still in the works, which makes it the fourth time he’s had to confirm this news. This was revealed during a recent interview he did with Sariah Wilson, and she revealed this news via Twitter.

There’s been so much confusion surrounding Rian Johnson Star Wars trilogy. It had been revealed by Lucasfilm’s President, Kathleen Kennedy, that he was going to be writing and directing a future Star Wars trilogy. However, since then, there’s been no news on it.

Kennedy then revealed at 2020’s Disney Investor’s Day presentation that Patty Jenkins was going to be making a new Star Wars film called Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. She also revealed that Taika Waititi would also be making a Star Wars movie. Finally, there’s Kevin Feige’s Star Wars movie. So, what’s happened to Rian Johnson’s Star Wars trilogy.

Well, Johnson recently spoke to Sariah Wilson and she revealed on Twitter that he did confirm that his Star Wars trilogy is still in development. Here’s what she Johnson told her:

I’m just going to post this now because I can see that I’m going to get a lot of requests – Yes, Rian’s SW trilogy is still on. No dates or timelines because he has other projects going on, but it is happening.
